New York, March 19, 2025 -  The New York Festivals TV & Film Awards has unveiled the 2025 Shortlist, spotlighting extraordinary content from filmmakers and storytellers across six continents. These exceptional works were rigorously evaluated by the esteemed NYF TV & Film Awards Grand Jury.

The 2025 Shortlist features a diverse array of compelling primetime entertainment, documentaries, investigative journalism, sports coverage, promos, streaming media, and brand image films, showcasing the global impact of storytelling across multiple genres.

The New York Festivals (NYF) is part of the CIFFT Circuit, a global competition for tourism videos with eight other international stages. Among the nominees in the Tourism category of the Corporate Image section are 16 outstanding productions submitted through CIFFT .

These films represent a diverse range of tourism brands, including Switzerland Tourism, Zagreb Tourist Board, Montenegro National Tourism Organisation, Düsseldorf Tourismus, NURI Conservas Pinhais Co, VisitSydsjælland-Møn, Campo de Gibraltar Commune, Madrid Destino, Liszki Commune, Lobby Films and Advertising, Patronato de Turismo de Conil, Zell am See-Kaprun Tourismus, Visit Portugal, Vila do Bispo Municipality, and the Tourist Board of City Kaštela.

All Entries in the 2025 edition are judged online and screened by NYF’s TV & Film Awards Grand Jury of 160+ award-winning producers, directors, writers, and other creative media professionals from around the globe. 

Award-winning entries will be announced during the New York Festivals 2025 Storytellers Gala virtual event on May 22nd at 6PM EDT. The virtual event will include featured global audio and video highlights, award winners’ acceptance speeches from around the world, and up-close and personal spotlights featuring some of radio and television’s most respected storytellers.

Since 1990, the New York Festivals has been a member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) and a key part of the CIFFT Circuit. The winners of the Tourism Section will also get a place on the CIFFT Rankings, which will define the World’s Best Tourism Films of the Year.
