Teodora serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Public Affairs at the European Travel Commission (ETC). At the forefront of ETC's climate action and sustainability efforts, Teodora drives forward the organisation's mission to promote Europe as a premier travel destination while prioritising environmental stewardship and community engagement. As part of this mission, Teodora guides the efforts of ETC members to reconsider the role that tourism plays in our economies and societies, concentrating, among other things, on regenerative tourism initiatives and climate change adaptation strategies for the travel sector.
Drawing from her experience within the EU institutions, including the European Parliament and the Committee of the Regions, Teodora has an in-depth understanding of policy-making and regulatory environments. She is also certified as a Sustainable Tourism Project Manager Practitioner (PM4SD) by APMG.
